Ripe, juicy peaches are really special. They make so many different desserts. Can you imagine a slice of warm peach pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream? Now that you are drooling, why not check out some great peach frozen dessert recipes. Make your own peach ice cream or sorbet, or turn your peach pie on its head with a frozen version of the classic dessert. While these recipes are generally designed to make with fresh peaches, you can also use canned fruit if it is out of season.

Another favorite of mine is to make peach ice pops. There really is no need to buy popsicles when you can make your own with great fresh ingredients. Homemade pops have no preservatives, no artificial sweeteners, and lots of nutritional value. You can feel as good serving homemade fruit popsicles to your kids as you do when they eat fresh fruit. You can even get sneaky and add vegetable juice to your pops. A little carrot juice hides well in peach desserts. Just trade out the apple juice and no one will know.
